Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cloud Software Architect to join our team in Espoo. As a Cloud Software Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our cutting-edge software solutions. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets the needs of our clients. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure architecture and a deep understanding of security best practices. Excitingly, you will also play a key role in our expansion to the USA, helping us succeed in this new market and bringing our innovative solutions to a broader audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, mentoring developers and ensuring security is integrated into all stages of the cloud lifecycle.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
  • Be a valuable part of our team, contributing to defining, designing, and shipping new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Ensure Azure is used effectively, securely, and cost-efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 in all software development and service operation activities.
  • Collaborate with our team to support our expansion into the USA, ensuring our software meets the needs of new clients and markets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET / C#, Raven DB, PostgreSQL, Azure.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and a willingness to learn Aurelia.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 standards or a keen interest in learning.
  • A passion for constant improvement and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
